Yuya osako’s 73- minutes header handed japan a perfect start to the 2018 world cup over 10-man Colombia.Carlos sanchez was handed the first red card of this summers tournament and the second  quickest in win world cup history after deliberately handling or goal bound shot in the third minute of the game. Shinji kagawa slotted home the resulting penalty to put the japan ahead. Juan quintro’s clever rolling free kick from just outside the penalty area sneaked inside the post just passed the outstretched hand of diving japan goalkeeper eiji kawashima to level things up before the break.
But japan would make their man advantage count when osako jumped highest to guide keisuke honda’s corner home. Poland and Senegal, also in group H and the final two teams not yet so start their world cup. Kick off at 4pm.
Down to 10 men with six minute into the game, Colombia came back strongly to level japan 1-1 at half time. Intelligent free kick from juan quintero in the 39th minute helped Colombia level after carlos sanchez was shown the red card in the 4th minute to the game for handling the ball inside the box. Kagawa netted the ball with ease and japan were with the lead in the opening minutes of the game.
